We have lived here at our home on Whidbey for over 8 years now. Every summer (at least for the last few years) we have had the pleasure of sitting on our deck and sipping margaritas and looking out at our incredible view! What a joy this is at the end of a hot day. Anyway, each summer we have seen (creeping over the horizon) a hot air balloon or two. We always wondered where they were flying from.
Well we decided to find out just where these explorers are out of and low and behold we had a beautiful drive out by Carnation and we found the balloons. So here are a few pics of both our view, and the balloons and a little info about how you can get a balloon ride of your own on Over The Rainbow Balloon Flights.
I always thought it would be fun to take the grandkids up but now after exploration, have decided that if I am lucky enough to be able to take this flight it will be with hubby and it will be for a very very special event.
