Comic Tuesday

Amazing Superpowers is an interesting webcomic - often ironic, simply drawn and colored, and often quite amusing. I don't like the character's 'Little Orphan Annie' eyes, but it worked for Harold Gray so whatever. Give it a read!

Here is my favorite offering from: Amazing Superpowers

Sandra and Woo is a nifty webcomic about a young girl and her pet raccoon.

The strip starts here, and has a sample page here.

It's been a while - but here's an Illustrator who has some of his comics on his Tumblr. Richard Sala has a clean, whimsical style. Enjoy!

A graphic novel this week, rather than a serial. Who Takes Out the Garbage? is a moving tale of two young ladies and things that go bump in the night. Enjoy!

I had a really good comic all picked out, but it was more than a little ribald. In the interest of keeping the site family-friendly, I've instead chosen this very tame comic: Arctic Blast! Completely clean, Arctic Blast makes up for it be not being very funny. Enjoy!

I like westerns - perhaps I spent too much time as a muleskinner in my youth. ;) Anyway, Edmund Finney's Quest to Find the Meaning of Life is a great western comic. Enjoy!

Stripgroove is a webcomic aggregator. I don't know whether it still updates, or how deep the archive is, but considering my lack of recent updates, it's a good place to catch up with the webcomic scene. Enjoy!

Comic Tuesday

We recently attended the Emerald City Comic Convention, and talked with a bunch of great comic artists. The Count offered to draw a custom sketch for me, so I asked for my favorite topic: Ants destroying a Village. You also should check out the artists comic, Frederick the Great.

Comic Tuesday

I attended my first Emerald City Comic Convention this weekend, and I found a lot of great comics to follow. Expect great things on Tuesday's for a while. First though, here's one I planned before the con. Brainless Tales updates daily, and is quite professionally drawn and consistently amusing. Enjoy!

No Zombies on Whidbey Island, but I know 3 guys working on a Zombie script.
