I'm not sure if this is a good thing, or not. A new service mates Google Maps with the news, to provide a graphical display of terrorism and suspicious activity.
You can zoom in, and click on the incidents for more information.
At first I found it fascinating -- it updates every 5 minutes. But after a while, it gets pretty depressing. It's scary out there.
