I'm a voracious reader. I process visuals so quickly it's scary. I think it's because of all the cereal I ate as a kid. You know, sitting at the table, eating your cereal, and reading the back of the cereal box. Also, I lived way out in the country, so I basically had to keep myself company. That involved reading everything I could.
Anyway, all this has made me a huge fan of link aggregators. What's a link aggregator, you ask? A link aggregator is a type of blog, that compiles all the cool stuff available on the web in one place.
Here's a partial list of my favorite link aggregators. Remember to come back to Rockhoppers when you're done looking around!
Bit's & Pieces is a great blog, very visual. Jonco lives in St. Louis, and has a great sense of humor.
Dark Roasted Blend has a coffee theme, but isn't about coffee at all. Every day there's another great pictorial essay. It's consistently fascinating.
Neatorama has been around for a long time. If you want to keep up with web culture, and you can only visit one site, this is the site to visit.
Nothing to do with Arbroath is a lot like Bit's & Pieces. It also has a great list of other links, so don't get lost.
Every Sunday, Postsecret posts a collection of postcards it's received, all with peoples deep, dark, dangerous secrets revealed. This one always makes me think, often makes me sad, but ultimately reveals the human spirit.
Why spend the day on the computer when you can explore Whidbey Island?

Yes. There is so much great stuff out there. If only we take the time to look!
