Having our own sound system has made me appreciate microphones like never before. Here's a great post on vintage microphones. I'd love to have just a few of these for Rockhoppers. Our open mic would be even more special!

I have an old microphone! I'll send you a photo. Unfortunately it has the wrong kind of plug to use on your sound system, I think.
It was my Dad's that he used on his HAM radio. I also have a set of crystals that he kept handy to change frequencies in some of his gear.
