Today's comic is kind of hit or miss. XKCD is rarely mediocre, it seems to either perfectly nail a subject, or completely miss the point. When it's funny, however, there's no better comic. Drawn in a truly simplistic stick-figure style, the comic is only sophisticated in it's subject matter and approach.
Included in the comic is a secret comment -- in true geek fashion, the tooltip displayed when your cursor hovers over the comic adds to the joke. (Note to those of you hovering over the comics on this post: the tooltips trick only works on the XKCD site itself. Click on the comic to go there.) XKCD is becoming a phenomenon, and there's a lot of real gems in the archive. It's worth the effort to mine them.
Comics about Whidbey Island.
