Comic Tuesday

The comic Li'l Abner began in 1934, and ran for 43 years. It was a staple of my Sunday morning comic page, and has very well developed characters. Comics.com is re-running the comic, and started it's cycle again with the first strip last week.

That means you can read the entire comic, a new strip every day, for the next 43 years, I guess. These early strips really stand out, the art and the storylines are definitely dated. It makes for an interesting read, in any case, so go enjoy Li'l Abner every day.

Comics on Whidbey Island.
