Nature's Path

Did you know that Whidbey Island hosts a soon-to-be world-class marathon? The Nature's Path marathon, held on the north end of the island, made the list of best up-and-coming marathons in Runners World magazine.

The full marathon course starts at Deception Pass, and the half-marathon starts in Oak Harbor. Both end at the finish line in Coupeville. April is a nice month for running on Whidbey, it should be cool and maybe a little damp.

Spnsored by Nature's Path organic foods, this local marathon is starting to receive lots of local support. Mark your calendars, this years race is April 13th.

Run, run, run, run on Whidbey Island.
