Stardust- Oh it get's in my eyes!!!

Dan and I had a date nite last night. WOW! We went to a movie and out to dinner afterward with our family (Mary and Randy). What a terrific night. We got to see a really good movie and it was a "date" movie too! If I sound excited it is because I am. This movie was really good. It was funny, sweet, action packed and you were never really sure where it was going except that it would end happy... Had to it was a fairy tale! And it would have gotten a really bad review if it had ended sad!

So to start off this is the premise: A young man named Tristan (Charlie Cox) tries to win the heart of Victoria (Sienna Miller), the beautiful but cold object of his desire, by going on a quest to retrieve a fallen star. His journey takes him to a mysterious and forbidden land beyond the walls of his village. On his odyssey, Tristan finds the star, which has transformed into a striking girl named Yvaine (Claire Danes). However, Tristan is not the only one seeking the star. A king's (Peter O'Toole) four living sons - not to mention the ghosts of their three dead brothers - all need the star as they vie for the throne. Tristan must also overcome the evil witch, Lamia (Michelle Pfeiffer), who needs the star to make her young again. As Tristan battles to survive these threats, encountering a pirate named Captain Shakespeare (Robert De Niro) and a shady trader named Ferdy the Fence (Ricky Gervais) along the way, his quest changes. He must now win the heart of the star for himself as he discovers the meaning of true love.

Corny, fun and sweet! Randy thought that De Niro took the show.. I thought the brothers were close to doing that and I have to say Michelle Pfeiffer looked wonderful as an old hag!!

From a female perspective it was a single shot and probably one of the funnest single shots I've seen in a while.

For those fo you who have checked out the Hollywood Stock Exchange I recommend looking at the movie SILK. It is coming out on the 14th of this month and should be a wonderful movie. I am highly invested in it and looking forward to seeing it next. If you havent checked out the Hollywood Stock Exchange then just ignore this or check it out at Hollywood Stock Exchange.
