If you took all the pigments in the color spectrum and mixed them together, what color would you make? This question is answered by Gamblin artist colors of Portland, Oregon. In the process of making their paints, they filter the air to protect their worker's lungs, using their exclusive Torrit air filters.. Each year they clean the filters, collect the pigment, and mix it into paint.
The resulting tubes of "Torrit Grey" are distributed free, and Gamblin sponsors a contest for art made exclusively with the paint. Making art with a single color is a worthy challenge for any artist, and the results speak for themselves.
