Read This! -- Physical Genius

Malcolm Gladwell

Malcolm Gladwell is one of my favorite modern authors. This essay, first published in The New Yorker magazine in 1999, is so interesting. The New Yorker has quite a lot of it's archives available on-line, so there's no reason to subscribe, which is good, considering their recent poor judgement regarding cover art. I'd hate to give an organization so stupid any money, it might encourage them. Note that I'm also only linking to the article I'm featuring, not the magazine in general. The New Yorker, Cover, August 2, 1999

Anyway, read this interesting essay about amazing physical skills.

Reading on Whidbey Island.

I can't believe you've written off the new yorker because of one of their satirical covers. You subscribed to that magazine for years, and I think it's sad that you've become so sensitive. I thought the cover was funny. I've seen comics that were far more offensive aimed towards George Bush.
