Subnormality is a wonderfully surreal, cynical, weekly comic. There are several recurring characters, most notably the Sphinx, who turns out to be multi-talented. And hungry.
There are several dozens of strips in the archive, enough for a good read, but not enough to wear out their welcome. My favorite is this one about time travelers to 1933 Germany.
I find it useful to read the title of each comic, the title of the webpage and the occasional tooltip, as sometimes the humor is subtle, or needs amplification. After all, the subtitle of the strip is 'Where "I don't get it" is a badge of honor!'
